About RootsToRise

United by a shared commitment to youth empowerment.

We are a non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental foundation working to equip young Nigerians with future-ready digital skills, mentorship, and innovation opportunities.

Our Story

Founded to close Nigeria's digital opportunity gap.

RootsToRise Youth Empowerment Foundation was established by founding members united by a shared commitment to youth empowerment, digital inclusion, innovation, and sustainable development in Nigeria.

Recognising the urgent need to equip young Nigerians with future-ready digital skills that foster self-sustainability, employability, and global competitiveness, our founders resolved to operate under a formal Constitution to promote digital transformation, talent development, and economic empowerment.

The Foundation's inaugural meeting was held on 18 May 2026, where members unanimously adopted the RootsToRise Youth Empowerment Foundation name and Constitution, appointed the founding Board of Trustees, and resolved to register the Foundation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as an Incorporated Trustee under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On 21 July 2026, the Foundation was formally incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC-9698865), and from 17–20 August 2026 it delivered its inaugural programme — Bootcamp 1.0 — proving its model through self-funded action.
